Most Winnipeg buyers focus so hard on negotiating the purchase price that they forget there are other ways to save serious money 👀 One of the biggest? Asking the seller to buy down your interest rate. That can save you thousands over the life of your mortgage. Repair credits are another underrated move. Instead of arguing over repairs, ask for a credit at closing so you can choose your own contractor and finishes later. And don’t forget… appliances, blinds, furniture, even patio sets can all be negotiated too. Also, please talk to more than one lender.
